In this month’s edition of Fox 8’s Cleveland’s Own, Matt Kaulig highlights Cornerstone of Hope. Matt Kaulig visits with Mark Tripodi of Cornerstone of Hope to learn more about this organization & discovers why Cornerstone of Hope is near and dear to the Tripodi’s hearts.

In May of 2000, Mark & Christi Tripodi’s lives changed forever. On Mother’s Day evening, they rushed their only son, Bobby, to the emergency room with a high fever. Though they knew something was wrong, they both expected it to be only a matter of hours until they were home again. Unfortunately, they did not come home until the next evening, and they did so without their son. Bobby died from bacterial meningitis at the age of three years old.

Unlike the support available to them when they lost Bobby, the Tripodi’s decided to create Cornerstone of Hope, a home for grief so that those who are hurting can access support for themselves or their family when they need it most. Their goal is to make life and living possible again and to find new hope after the loss of a loved one. They are committed to turning the pain of their loss into purpose, and for them, Cornerstone of Hope is their way of fulfilling the needs of grievers in Northeast Ohio.

Learn how Cornerstone of Hope creates a world where no grieving person journeys alone.
