Akron Children’s Hospital–one of the nation’s leaders in pediatric care–announced Monday that Matt Kaulig was one of three winners of its 2020 Champion for Children Award.
Each year, Akron Children’s Hospital recognizes individuals who have made an extraordinary commitment to supporting the hospital with the Champion for Children Award.
Because of COVID-19 risks, Akron Children’s Hospital chose to recognize each winner with a special video to “thank them for going above and beyond to ensure the hospital continues to provide world-class pediatric health care.”

“Now more than ever, it is important to recognize individuals who are our partners in supporting happy, healthy kids,” they said in the announcement.
Awards are a unique way to honor those who inspire us.
