What a night Kaulig Racing had in Daytona at the WaWa 250 on Friday, Aug. 28.

With the white flag waving, heading into the final turn, the team was poised to finish 1 – 2 – 3.

As they say though, “rubbing is racing.”

Heading into turn four, A.J. Allmendinger and Ross Chastain–first and second place respectively–got tied up. Following closely behind, Justin Haley capitalized on the opportunity, driving beneath the two to grab the victory.

With the win, Haley is the first Kaulig Racing driver to win two races in a season. Chastain still finished sixth and Allmendinger ended up 15th.

As Kaulig Racing heads into the Sports Clips Haircuts VFW 200 at Darlington Raceway, Justin Haley sits at fourth in the playoff standings and Ross Chastain has the 8 spot.
