In this month’s segment of Fox 8 Cleveland’s Own, we’re excited to put the spotlight on University Hospitals. Matt Kaulig sat down for an inspiring interview with Dr. Cliff Megerian and Dr. Joan Zoltanski from UH.

The leadership at University Hospitals has worked tirelessly to support, guide, and protect individuals during this unprecedented time. UH has raised more than $5 million in community giving in response to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. These funds, including funds raised from other local healthcare partners, will provide crucial, local-level support during the pandemic.

As UH continues to care for and provide medical care patient by patient, the community reached out to the healthcare organization to seek guidance on how to re-open public spaces in Northeast Ohio. Dr. Zoltanski explains how UH pooled their subject matter expertise and trusted resources from across the organization and worked to develop the UH Healthy Restart Playbook, a toolkit designed to provide businesses with guidance on preparing their workplaces for COVID-19 and transitioning from response mode to recovery mode.

“We will continue and actually double-down on our goal and our pursuit of science, health and art of compassion.”
